The B&B

Immersed in nature, there are two characteristic single huts equipped with all comforts with a shared swimming pool and playground for the little ones.
Each hut is equipped with:

• kitchenette
• fireplace
• 1 double bed
• 2 single beds
• External barbecue
• Private outdoor living area
• Private outdoor whirlpool with heated water

Located in Linguaglossa, a hill town 20 minutes from the sea and 20 minutes from Etna. Easy to reach because it is located along the road that leads directly to Etna, not far from the Circumetnea railway station and the buses that connect it to the city of Catania.

You arrive in a very short time on the north side of Etna and Piano Provenzana where you can visit the extinct craters of the terrible eruption of 2002 and reach the summit craters from here on off-road vehicles.

Among the Municipalities of the Etna Park, Castiglione di Sicilia, a delightful medieval village that dominates the Alcantara river valley, close to the eastern sector of the Nebrodi Park, also easily reachable from the B&B, retains all the charm of its origins. . Among the gorges of lava origin carved by the river the Alcantara flows in whose waters it is possible to practice various sports, river trekking, rafting, and canyoning. In the area we find several cultural attractions, such as the Pro Loco Museum and the Francesco Messina museum or the ancient churches of the town, all located in the historic center of Linguaglossa.

A few kilometers away we find the beautiful “Pineta Ragabo”, from where you can make various excursions both to the craters and to the numerous caves located in the vast territory of the Etna park. You can choose to spend alternative days, in close contact with nature, to discover unspoiled corners and breathtaking landscapes. In the winter you can ski on the slopes of the volcano thanks to the new chairlift inaugurated in December 2008. In the summer you can reach the beaches of Fiumefreddo and Giardini Naxos in about 15 minutes. Do not miss the amazing scenery of the Alcantara Gorges. If you want to spend a day in the unspoiled nature of the Nebrodi Park, just 20 minutes by car. In addition, the area is full of restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste the typical dishes of the Etna area, such as the sausage and wines such as red Etna (D.O.C.) produced in native vineyards.
